Extension Courses either meet in classrooms located off-campus or are conducted through the Iowa Communications Network (ICN)., on the Web, or as telecourses broadcast by Iowa Public Television. Guided Independent Study (GIS) Courses, also known as Distance Education Courses, are offered through the Center for Credit Programs (CCP) and end with :EXY or :EXZ.
